ActMail
Corporate email under your own domain, hosted in Brazilian data centers with data sovereignty under LGPD.
Service overview
ActMail is ACT Tecnologia's managed corporate email solution. It delivers professional mailboxes under the company's domain, hosted on national infrastructure, with protection against spam and malware, collaboration tools, and a centralized admin panel. The entire operation (provisioning, security, monitoring, and support) is run by ACT.
Professional email
Mailboxes under your own domain, accessible via webmail, mobile, and desktop clients. Compatible with Outlook, Thunderbird, and Apple Mail.
Layered security
Antispam, antivirus, two-factor authentication, and SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records to protect reputation and deliverability.
Collaboration + Drive
Integrated calendar, contacts, tasks, and cloud storage, with online document editing and controlled sharing.
Protocols and access configuration
Recommended configuration: SSL/TLS: all mailbox access uses encrypted connections. The ports below are recommended for setup in any email client.
| Service | Server | Port | Security | Function |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| IMAP (incoming) | imap.actmail.com.br | 993 | SSL/TLS | Syncs folders across multiple devices |
| POP3 (incoming) | pop.actmail.com.br | 995 | SSL/TLS | Downloads messages to a single device |
| SMTP (outgoing) | smtp.actmail.com.br | 465 | SSL/TLS | Sends messages with mandatory authentication |
Server names are illustrative and adjusted to the client's domain. Sending (SMTP) requires authentication with the mailbox's own username and password. Automatic setup is available via autodiscover/autoconfig once DNS records are published.
Required DNS records
| Record | Type | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| MX | MX (priority 0) | Routes the domain's incoming email to the platform |
| SPF | TXT | Authorizes sending servers and reduces spoofing risk |
| DKIM | TXT | Digitally signs outgoing messages |
| DMARC | TXT | Defines the policy for handling unauthenticated messages |
| Autodiscover | CNAME / SRV | Enables automatic configuration in clients and devices |
Capacity and operational limits
Sending limits protect domain reputation and deliverability for all hosted mailboxes. For bulk or transactional sending, ACT offers a separate dedicated service.
| Parameter | Limit | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Storage per mailbox | Per plan | Set at contracting, based on usage profile |
| Recipients per message | Up to 100 | Sum of To, Cc, and Bcc |
| Sends per hour | 750 | Rolling window; protects against abuse-related blocking |
| Sends per day | 1,500 | Controlled in a 24-hour rolling window |
| Max attachment size (webmail) | 37 MB | Larger files via integrated Drive |
| Max message size (client) | 50 MB | Includes body and encoded attachments |
Platform reference values, subject to adjustment per contracted plan and current usage policy.
